Small church at Barco de Ávila.

For the architecture inquisitives there is a wide variety of styles and ages. Besides our village, Valdesangil, it is very interesting to visit near towns and contemplate the different bell gables, bell towers and campaniles on the local churches that, being in 'christian lands', appear powerful compared with the church and other buildings, made out of the very abundant granite squared stones. Within these churches it is possible to see peculiar structures and interesting retables with indubitable artistic and historical value.
