'La Escuela'

Our house 'La Escuela' is the reconstruction
of a nineteenth century house in the town of Valdesangil keeping its
original structure and its facade, but equipped with all the facilities
desirable in any housing, that serves as a point of departure and
arrival of very different routes and activities for the area. Around the
ground in ceramic clay, 4 complete bathrooms with thermostatic taps,
heating in the 5 rooms with independent temperature regulation,
bathrooms and lounge. Induction and ceramic fires, dishwasher, coffee
machine, toaster, juice squeezer and microwave oven. Real fireplace in
the lounge, double glazing on all windows and balconies, etc. to make it
more enjoyable stay in this house. It is oriented towards the West,
drawing all the light and heat from sunsets. All rooms are exterior and
receive natural light by their windows and balconies, equipped with double 'Climalit' glazing to ensure tightness and
insulation against to noise and peak temperature. The doors to
balconies and windows are of type 'oscilobatiente', capable to incline open
for ventilation purposes. |

The house

|
|
This house was the school for the village children
(boys; girls were in another building in other part of the town). It has
been kept the original structure and the facade, with its stone and the
balcony 'castilian' railings, respecting and retaining the original walls
that provide excellent insulation with their 90 cm thickness.
As you will understand, for very different reasons,
sorry but we do not accept pets. |

At the facade, the first floor balcony belong to
the two bedrooms rooms of this floor. The upper terraces correspond to
the rooms on the second floor. The balcony stone is genuine, as well as
the finish of the stone facade. |

During the indoors rehabilitation chestnut wood beams and interlocking panels on the roofs
have been used . The roof was
covered with the original tiles, overlapping with the appropriate
insulation and the new structure of wooden beams with materials similar
to the originals, which have not been able to take advantage of the
house's own initial. The fireplace lounge is closed type, with hot
exhaust air to it. |

The house consist of three floors:

Ground floor
is composed of common areas: lobby, lounge with fireplace, kitchen with
service bar to the living room, and a complete bathroom.
Five windows
provide natural light and ventilation.
All the rooms in the house are heated. |

First floor
|

|
|
|
|
First floor includes three bedrooms, two with double
bed overlooking the balcony of the stone facade, and another one with
two beds overlooking an open courtyard. |

|
|
Bedrooms and bathrooms have wooden ceilings and ceramic flooring.

Second floor
|
|
|
|
|
The second floor comprises two bedrooms, one with double
bed and one with two independent beds.
The two bedrooms provide a
balcony (terrace) on the facade to the street. |
